The Plastics and Circular Economy Act of 2021 was passed by NSW Parliament and means the phasing out of single use plastics. By passing this legislation, it is expected to stop up to 2.7 billion single-use items from ending up in our natural environment and waterways. It is a game-changer in the fight against plastic waste in NSW.
